    The 7th Galaxy is the brainchild of Neera Chawla, whose creative vision and instinctive design sensibilities have shaped the brand’s journey for over four decades. A driving force behind some of the most prestigious lighting projects, she brings a rare ability to understand a space, interpret a client’s vision, and translate it into lighting that is both distinctive and timeless.

    With an unwavering eye for detail and a deep understanding of craftsmanship, design and light, Neera has devoted more than 40 years to pursuing excellence in the field. Her journey is defined by dedication, determination and an enduring passion for creating lighting that elevates spaces and leaves a lasting impression.

    Managing Partner & Director – Sales

    Nidhi Chawla Haidar Ali plays a pivotal role in overseeing The 7th Galaxy’s showroom operations and project sales. With an exceptional eye for design and a distinctive, unconventional approach to aesthetics, she brings together creativity, commercial insight and a deep understanding of client requirements.

    Known for her ability to connect effortlessly with clients, Nidhi believes that great lighting is as much about understanding the people and spaces it is created for as it is about design. She works closely with architects, interior designers and private clients, translating their vision into lighting solutions that are both considered and distinctive.

    Her hands-on approach extends across the entire client journey—from understanding requirements and curating the right pieces to ensuring attention to detail, seamless execution and a consistently high level of service. Her passion for design, commitment to quality and genuine understanding of her clients have made her an integral part of every project she undertakes.

    Amit Chawla is a driving force behind the growth and evolution of The 7th Galaxy. As Managing Partner and Business Head, he leads the organisation’s business strategy, project development and execution, with a clear focus on creating new opportunities and expanding the scope of its work within the ever-evolving lighting industry.

    Over the years, Amit has played a pivotal role in taking on increasingly diverse and complex projects, building strong relationships with leading architects, interior designers, hospitality professionals, consultants and clients, and transforming these relationships into long-standing collaborations. His ability to understand market trends, identify emerging opportunities and bring the right brands, products and lighting solutions to the forefront has contributed significantly to the growth of the business.

    He is closely involved in some of the company’s most important projects, guiding them from the initial concept and commercial planning through to production and execution. His leadership combines business acumen with a strong understanding of design, enabling the team to approach each project with creativity, precision and commercial clarity.
